Tienanmen square is what everyone reads about but that was the highlight of over a year a very large scale protests. The Chinese gov got the army involved and millions of Chinese LITERALLY stopped the army by blocking roads and showing their babies and saying “Hey, we are your parents, brothers and sisters” and finally the gov cracked down, but the citizens won.
