The American public is getting robbed in the daylight.

live in ontario
grow our own food
and stay safe for the next ten years
I am fourty two
Giving money to the auto sector will not help at all. It would be far better to give say $6,000.00 to any person that will buy a new auto made in north america. This would help the auto industry without giving them a direct bailout. It would also give a huge boost to the economy and cost less than the bail out would.
I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.

We’re being robbed to pay wall street thieves and corrput politicians. $700 billion has now turned into billions more with the pork spending “sweeteners” as they call it. The government now is setting a standard that says taxpayers need to bail out big investment banks and anyone who makes bad loans or borrows more than they can pay. We have never had a more corrupt goverment than this.
This guy makes a lot of sense. A lot more then we are getting out of Washington.
This bailout is just “voodoo economics”. The proponents even say, they are not sure if a 700 billion dollar will work! What does that tell you?
They are asking the American people to bailout the elites, so they will be able to loan you more of your OWN money! They are so good to us.
I believe it.
Get ready for some bad times.
The oil companies have taken a good portion of our paychecks these last two years, and they will continue to do so, unless we Nationalize them.
The resources of this world should belong to the people, not just a few individuals.

I don’t know what the best solution is. I can only say that Americans need to put an end to its military engagements overseas, and focus on peace. We should be neutral and focus on revitalizing our production work force, other the trend of having a workforce that seems to be only in “service” industries.

This is a confusion of objectives and an attempt to use a crisis to push an egalitarian/socialist objective under the guise of an economic policy.
The problem with the package is the size which is aimed at placating the citizens and to make it look like the government is doing something The govt is not a solution to a problem that governments are incapable of solving and caused through the reserve banks reaction to 911.
there are too many people on the planet. lack of energy, fresh water and quality food will drive us to intense population control.
there are too many people on the planet. energy consumption, water shortages, and limited supply of quality food is forcing various population control methods.
